Caesarean Section

Caesarean section are usually triggered due to the presence of problem which could be life-threatening for the baby or mother (or either) or by a circumstance that could make vaginal births risky, such as the breech birth (baby placed to be born feet first, rather than the head in first).

The most important thing to consider when performing the success of an emergency C-section is speed. The longer it takes to carry out C-sections, the greater the chance for complications.

 Caesarean section delivery procedure

There are many circumstances when cesarean is required. The most common circumstances is that the baby is suffering and isn’t getting enough oxygen from the umbilical cord , or if the blood flow to the brain or the heart is restricted or stopped. This is often the case in breech births, where the baby is placed feet first and not head first. The doctor may do a cesarean section or rotate the baby to allow it to be delivered in a normal way.

Cesarean section, also known as C-section is a form of surgical procedure in which an incision is cut in both the abdominal cavity and in the uterus in order to birth an infant. It’s typically reserved for situations in which it’s more safe for the baby and mother to remove the baby by surgery, rather than vaginal birth. Although a cesarean birth may seem like a simple method of getting rid, it’s an extremely invasive procedure. There are risks to you as well as your baby, and complications could occur in the event of medical issues. In addition, if you’ve had a cesarean section during one of your pregnancies and you’re likely to require one for the next. Cesarean sections are becoming more frequent over the past few years due to the advancement of surgical techniques, advances in the practice of obstetrics and an rise in the number diabetic and older mothers who have babies.
